Wizard101 has released their Dino Pack which is based off the new world of Aztecha! The gear in this pack is made to make you look like a dinosaur with it's dino themed outfit and the Dinosaur head gear!

With this gear, Morganth will run screaming! Of course what is any fierce dinosaur warrior without their trusty T-rex mount! I can only imagine this mount will be like the high flying own mount's view unless KI decided to change the camera angle on this mount, but either way, it's still pretty cool to have! If you DONT want to wear it then it will be a pretty good guard dinosaur in our house!

This mount has a 40% speed increase and I mean come on, who doesn't want to run around the commons on-top of a scary looking dinosaur!? This pack also comes with a new house, called the Aztecosaur Pyramid has not been posted yet. If you want to keep up to date, check out this awesome thread over at wizard101central! I know A LOT of people have been wanting this mount and it's a 2-person mount!! Of course, this is a super bundle so it's going to cost about $40 like the rest of KI's super bundles.

So KI recently added some new mounts and pet's to the test realm and boy are they cute! Im going to over a couple of them now! Here is the mount picture from Paige MoonShade!

It's just so cartoonish and amazing! The details are very good. He, or she, seems to be very happy which kinda scares because, well it's a dinosaur lol. It's hard to tell from the photo how big the mount really is but I am going to take a guess and it's a little bigger then the tiger mounts.

Here is another of the mounts, the picture is sorta small.

Looks like a gold platted spinosaurus. Looks like a painful ride.... It's hard to tell from the picture but the mount looks like it might have a seat to sit on, much like the sheep mount. Not much I can say for this mount since, well, it's a REALLY small image and I cant get on the test realm to see it my self.

Now THAT pet is adorable, something I would spend my money on. In my opinion  KI did good visually wise with these new pets/mounts although I do think it IS a little pricey.

The pets seem to manifest some really good talents and would be good for pet lovers plus they come with some good spells right off the bat, including elemental traps and blades. Not only are they great for training they are just great to have, and I heard from someone this little lizard LOVES to throw temper tantrums!

That's right the Pirate101 Test realm is out! Nothing major, just some fine tuning but the real interesting update comes with combat.

Changed the rules for late arrivals to combat! The goal was to make players joining a multiplayer combat less painful for the person already in combat.

• Combat occurs as it would normally if a player arrives in combat on the first round. Players will appear on the left side of screen with their companions and multiple creatures will appear on the right side as expected.
• After round 1 the following new rules apply:
• Late arriving players appear alone with no companions.
• Late arriving players appear on the enemy side of the combat.
• Only one new enemy per late arriving player will be added to the battleboard.
• The new enemy will be located near the late arriving player.
• The new enemy will begin the combat with focused attention on the late arriving player.

With Pirate101’s launch, however, small waves of concern have begun to ripple throughout the Wizard101 community. ‘What will happen to our game?’ ‘Are all of the developers now working on Pirate101 and leaving just a skeleton crew for our game?’

These are all fair questions and things that need to be answered. I had the distinct pleasure of talking with Wizard101 Producer Leah Ruben. Right out the gate, and without even being asked, she told me that Wizard101’s team is big, thriving and committed to keep the content coming for ardent Wizard101 players. In fact, Leah told me, the team is bigger now than it was at launch.

“Rest assured,” she said. “We’re still going strong.”

If the numbers are any indication, KingsIsle still has a winner in Wizard101. There are over thirty million registered players and the metrics indicated that over twenty million unique visitors per month check out the W101 site.

Going strong indeed!

What better way to prove just how committed KingsIsle is to its flagship title than with the announcement that Wizard101 will be seeing another world launching this year! That’s right. We have the inside story about the second major world addition to Wizard101 in 2012.

Called “Azteca”, the new world is one filled with dinosaurs. You read it right: DINOSAURS! Azteca is packed with thirteen separate zones and filled with quests enough to help players reach the astonishing new level cap of 90, up from 80 after Avalon’s release in May.

Azteca also comes with new epic high-level class-specific spells, and new Astral spells. The W101 team has gone back to making flashing awesome cinematic spells that have wowed players forever. But what makes these new spells even more incredible is that they will be themed to Azteca’s environments.

Players will have a dual purpose in Azteca: Morganthe is making an appearance there complete with her minions and monstrous hordes. Players will face off against the Hungry Dead, Morganthe’s Umbra Legion, and the dread Comet Xibalba. And if that’s not enough, we were teased with this comment:

“Somebody will be coming back to assist Morganthe. Players will recognize this character.”

What? Who could it possibly be? Leah wouldn’t tell me but rest assured that it will be surprising.

The secondary purpose players will be working to accomplish in Azteca is the rescue of the world’s residents: Aztecosaurs, Avians, and Jaguars. Aztecosaurs have been living underground for ten years, the same amount of time that it was thought that the Azteca world was lost to the ages. But with the threat of the Comet Xibalba, they have resurfaced and send a messenger to find help from others in the Spiral. The Aztecosaurs send out a Quetzal Messenger with their request for assistance and a key to reopen the world to other residents of the Spiral. They will need all the help they can get as the Messenger comes to request aid chased by Morganthe’s hordes.

Leah assured me that there will be plenty of things for players to do. There will be new epic Azteca-themed gear and housing decorations to find as well as the chance to face off against one of Wizard101’s meanest baddies, Morganthe…and her mysterious accomplice.

The best part about this entire revelation from Leah and KingsIsle is the announcement that Azteca will be placed on the Public Test Realm later this week! It may seem like short notice, but the team wanted to give players a completely unexpected surprise and boy have they!

It seems abundantly clear that KingsIsle is as committed as ever to Wizard101 with its unprecedented release of a second major world in a single year.

So Sorry guys! I havent posted anything in SOOOOO long! It's because school started and been super busy! I also just got my license so thats another reason...

Good new though!! This Tuesday I plan on getting a awesome PC for gaming so I can make tons of videos!!!

For all you tech savvy pirates and wizards out there here is what I am getting!

Here is a breakdown of how things will go.

I will upload pirate videos, walkthroughs battles, puppet shows, etc on my "Neji8palm" channel. I will upload Minecraft, COD, other games that I can monetize, onto "xNeji8Palm". Wizard101 will also be posted onto "neji8palm" but it wont be as big and glamorous since I dont have a sub anymore. This week I will get the computer (I hope), download Pirate101, Minecraft, Wizard101, Fraps, etc to get everything running. Do some test, and start uploading videos! Minecraft first I think then Pirate since i'm missing Minecraft dearly. :p

I'll update this blog more often now that things are going back to normal! :)
